Normally everyone chooses to spend their Holidays in the summer, to enjoy a holiday villa with a swimming  pool in Spain, the sun, the beach...  But Spain also offers many different options to enjoy your holidays outside of the high season and at a slightly cheaper price.

From October the water at the beach and the pools have a considerably lower temperature so not everyone are capable enough to bathe, but this does not mean that you can´t enjoy the sun and the good weather. Sunbathing is possible on the terrace of your holiday villa, on the beach or on a terrace of a bar while having a beer or a soda.

This season is also perfect for hiking. This area of ​​the Axarquía has many routes through  the mountains in the Sierras Tejeda and Almijara Natural Park where you can not miss the Maroma peaks in Canillas de Albaida and Lucero in Cómpeta.

A visit to the different white villages of the Axarquía is something that should not be missed. These typical villages of Mudejar style invite you to get lost and discover all its corners in the typical narrow and winding streets. All these towns have a rich gastronomy that you have to taste.
