When we think about holidays the first thing that comes to mind is summertime – July and August;  but in Spain you can enjoy holidays all year round.  Each season offers something special and unique; you can spend fantastic holidays , including in winter, especially here in the southern part of Spain.

In the south of Spain the temperatures in winter are temperate enough and nearly always we have sunshine, which enables you to take part in many open air activities such as walking on the beach , rambling in the countryside, playing golf , skiing… Yes, really - skiing in the sun.  Seems unreal doesn´t it.   But, for sure , in the ski resort  in  the Sierra Nevada  you can ski from the beginning of December until the end of April and it has , in total, 124 pistes

You can stay in Cómpeta , a beautiful Andalucian village where you can discover the wonderful walking trails in the Natural Park of the Sierras Tejeda and Almijara and make visits to enchanting small , typical villages in Andalucia which you must not leave without trying the delicious gastronomic delights in many restaurants.

From Cómpeta , in only two hours , you can be skiing in the Sierra Nevada ,  in 30 – 35 minutes be playing golf at Baviera Golf  ( Caleta de Velez)  which is said  to be the best golf course in Andalucia, simply relaxing and renewing your energy by taking a walk along the seashore.

Here are some of our suggestions for where to stay during your holiday , in properties with central heating, woodburning fires, wifi etc
